This video is me describing the crisis for the colleges around the nation. I go in to the detail about the college I am attending myself and how we all can fix the problem that many students have in affording such colleges. I am the only actor (rich, poor, and normal guy) in this short film. I wrote the script, did the research and all the editing as well. This video was made in early 2012 before I upgraded my filming equipment.

Today (Saturday October 25th) at R & R's Cafe in Independence Iowa Republican Candidate for U.S Senate Joni Ernst again dodged the questions of voters like she has dodged meetings with Iowa Newspapers. University of Northern Iowa student Logun Buckley was ignored by Ernst as he questioned her about support for the Federal Pell Grants he relies on to afford college.

Students are deeper in debt than ever before. The cost of a college education is rising faster than the cost of medical care and as much as three times as fast as consumer prices. The rich are not suffering during this economic meltdown, in fact they are doing better than ever. So why is this nation taking money from those who need it the most and giving it away to the richest people in the nation? Once the tax cuts are completely phased in, a staggering 52.5% of the benefits will go to the the richest 5% of taxpayers. The situation is compounded by the fact that most US corporations pay absolutely no tax at all, while they reap the benefits of local services such a police and fire protection, road and bridge maintenance, state department and military protection. These are NOT CHEAP, and if they are not paying for it, WE ARE!
