Original members Keish de Silva, Peter “Blackie” Black, and Ray Ahn, together with current member Murray Ruse, will for the first and last time in their careers, tour Australia-wide with songs from the band’s pre-initial breakup period (1984-1993). Saturday, 21st July 1984 was the first time that a multiracial group of bare-chested teenage misfits climbed onto a pub stage with their own special brand of power pop punk. Hard-Ons officially turn 30 this year on 21st July 2014. They are celebrating this landmark by playing 11 shows covering Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and a whole bunch of country towns. I have seen and photographed the band as a three piece without Keish numerous times. From gigs at the East Brunswick Club, The Tote, Northcote Social Club and as part of the first Dig It Up! - The Hoodoo Gurus Invitational event at The Forum Theatre. www.assemblywales.org/peterblack The Assembly is made up of 60 elected Assembly Members – 40 are chosen to represent individual constituencies, and 20 are chosen to represent the five regions of Wales. This means every single person in Wales is represented by five AMs in total – one AM for their constituency (the local area in which they live), and another four AMs that cover their region. The five regions of Wales are: North Wales, Mid and West Wales, South Wales West, South Wales Central, and South Wales East.
