        Township Talent Studios Stare is working on a documentary together with Director/Producer Charlotte Mikkelborg in South Africa. In 2009, the all-black township of Kwamashu was dubbed ‘the murder capital of South Africa’. Our film follows three aspiring performing artists – Samke, Pholani and ex-convict Lucky - working hard to hone their talents at the KCAP Multi Arts center in Kwamashu, with dreams of achieving national and international stardom. The project is still in production. Planned release in 2013.

Nod Young is visual artist specializing in the digital design and visual arts. His piece is a dual ode to both Mao Live the venue, and the new wave, the music movement - two institutions of music that hold relevance then and now.

Niels "Shoe" Meulman is a graffiti legend from Amsterdam who in 2007 launched his movement "Calligraffiti", and art form that fuses calligraphy and graffiti. The "UN" and its stylistic form consisting of four calligraphic strokes symbolizes the power of reversal.
