/-Music: Amy - Yann Tiersen /-Editing: Final Cut Pro /-Grading: Apple Color, After Effect CS5 /-VisualFX: Optical Flares /-Camera: Canon 5D Mk II /-Lenses: Canon 50mm 1.2L, Canon 24-105mm F4L The video was shot in Khao Yai, Thailand in a dry corn field around lunch time. The challenge was to bring back some nice flares and "late afternoon" sun to make it visually more interesting. I use a very flat color profile to capture the biggest dynamic range possible for the grading. The 2 first shots we're made with the canon 24-105mm and the indislidermini. I also used the Manfrotto 585 for the walking shots to help stabilize a bit while keeping the "hand-held" feeling.+ More details

This is some footage filmed with the Sony HVR-A1U HDV camera in Thailand, Japan, Myanmar and China. The camera sensor is only a single 1/3" CMOS type so, its quite difficult to achieve DOF but the size of the camera makes it the perfect tool to travel with and shoot stuff undercover while having some decent quality footage out of the limited HDV compression. This footage is from a french-canadian webtv show that I produced and directed last year called "L'asie c'est l'asile!". Shot with the world's worst tripod ever ( little or no movement at all in the shots ) and edited in FCP / CC in magic bullet looks.+ More details
