    On Saturday morning the 9th May 2015 Kinvara, Co. Galway will host its first Darkness into Light 5k walk/run at 4.15 am from St Josephs National School, for Pieta House, the Centre for Prevention of Suicide and Self-harm. This is a national and international symbolic fundraising event for Pieta House; to give HOPE to those that have lost loved ones through suicide. The fee to register for the event is €25 per adult, €15 OAP/Students & Children (from 14 years)/Job Seeker, €65 Family (2 Adult and Children age 14 years and older), €20 per person for a group of 5 or more people. Children under 14 years are free but must be accompanied by an adult. Fee includes a Darkness into Light t-shirt. Refreshments for all after the 5k walk/run in Kinvara at St. Josephs National School.         Caitriona Bergin contacted me back in January about he decision to shave her head to raise awareness for depression and Pietas house and the excellent work they do, having done work for pieta house before I was delighted to help. This accumulated with an event in dtwo nightclub on the 10th of May. Caitriona and her team of people she recruited to conitnued to raise money on the night.           Gaelforce West is the biggest one day Adventure Race in the West Coast of Ireland. It consists of 23km running/hiking, 44km cycling and 1km of Kayaking and over 1,500 people compete in it each year. It took almost 7 hours to complete all in the name of Pieta Housa. The video includes the drive from Irelands capital, Dublin over to the West Coast of Ireland the day before and the race itself. During the race the GoPro Hero3 Silver was strapped to my chest.
