Fargo. A stop on a road trip. A spot on the map. Inspiration for a better goggle. A windshield view of Fargo in the winter shows more than you would ever believe. Cold plains, long views and an endless horizon all inspired the design that epitomizes this goggle. From the sweeping peripheral in the Optimum lens, to the horizon inspired frame structure, FARGO proves sometimes a quick stop in a small place leads to more than you would have ever expected.

                • Interlude: White Stoneware [Orange Rim Rip]

                  00:40

                  from Larisa Daiga / Added

HD, Silent, Color. This is from my installation at the degree show at the Royal College of Art. It is part of the series '24 Throwing Interludes' which is a series of 24 short videos filming throwing various clay bodies in the process of making on the potters wheel, from the point of view of the object in the center of the wheel looking out. The title is inspired by the BBC 'Interludes' in the 50's, where a clip of a person throwing a pot on the potters wheel would be shown between programs to fill empty space in the programming. The title also features the clay body used and any notable feature during the video.

                    from Larisa Daiga / Added

This is from my installation at the degree show at the Royal College of Art. It is a clip from the first video in the series called 'Etude' from 'Material Op. 1 (Views on Movement for Stoneware)'. This was filmed within one of my ceramic balls as it picks up speed and rolls down Broadwalk in Hyde Park early in the morning. My favorite part is the business man on the bicycle: keep a lookout for him. *Note: it is a video of a video which is being projected. • Show RCA 2012, 'Interlude: Porcelain Triptych'

                      02:47

                      from Larisa Daiga / Added

This is from my installation at my degree show at the Royal College of Art. It is three different instances of throwing porcelain played simultaneously side by side. I opted to explore throwing videos from the point of view of the object, thus the camera is embedded in the center of the wheel and the clay walls are built around it. *Note: it is a video of a video which is being projected. For inquiries about the original video please email larisa.daiga@gmail.com.
