Seeing lower Manhattan without power was a surreal experience. This is traditionally a city that never sleeps. One in which the lights are always on. One that is always bustling with people. When the lights went out it was wholly different. This piece is meant to capture and relay the feeling of what it was like to walk around the darkened streets of lower Manhattan. About: I´m always curious about the power & performance of different machines. When ever i have access to, i load up this file below and make a render in After Effects. There is no such tool as Cinebench for AE, so i built this project for testing. Maybe you like to join the party and compare your machine.... If you have any results or marks you´re welcome to put it in the comments! Thanks, have a nice render! Download the file > http://goo.gl/TnB0Kg The project file was made with AE CS 5.5+ More details

This video came 1st in the Documentary section of the 2011 FROME FIVE MINUTE FESTIVAL Dungeness is a headland on the coast of Kent, England, formed largely of a shingle beach in the form of a cuspate foreland. It shelters a large area of low-lying land, Romney Marsh. Dungeness is also the name given to a "village" situated along the beach, and to an important ecological site on the same location. Shot mainly on a Canon 5D mk2, with a Canon HSF10 on some of the steam trains. Edited in Premiere Pro with a little from After Effects and Looks. I created the music in Cubase with the help of a few VSTi's. Music by me.+ More details

On August 4th 2008 powerful storms rolled through Chicago. What you're viewing is in sequential order. It was pretty interesting how the storm had so many stages and different looks to it. After it's all said and done two separate storms made there way through the city. The first had very high winds and torrential rain. The second storm had heavy rain along with lots of thunder and lightning. It was quite a display and pretty scary. Music: Album Leaf - The Light+ More details

This was suppose to be another parody of my real life, but it ended up becoming something very real. SPECIAL THANKS TO: KassemG, DJ Scratchdog, Alex Miller, Derek Snider, Matt, and my beautiful (and understanding) fiance Stephanie. This was filmed with a Canon XH-A1, purely on automatic mode because we were in a hurry to finish. I wish I would have gone manual though. Oh well, lesson learned.+ More details
