Customer in California has been 100% Off grid for 6 weeks since the PowerGrid was installed. 90% of the house, which is the only portion the customer uses, has been been completely powered by the PowerGrid and solar, for 6 weeks. The batteries have never dropped below 90% the entire time, even during the night, with no assistance from utility grid. 100% maintenance free battery technology, and guaranteed to never catch fire, state rebates paid for a hefty portion of total costs. Not a bad deal !

And when a power outage does happen, they expect to have their service restored quickly. That’s why we’re installing new equipment to make our system more reliable, and to restore power faster. Smart grid is part of this. It allows us to remotely reroute power during storms or when lines are damaged, restoring a larger number of customers in a shorter period of time. from Krishan Hukam Added 137 1 0

The Electric Sun theory derives from the ancient premise that we live in a dynamic solar system, where electricity plays an integral role. Celestial bodies interact through conductive plasma and are connected through circuits. The Sun is electrically connected with the galaxy as well as the earth. It is an electrically charged object, seeking equilibrium with its environment. The charges flowing into and out of the sun increase and decrease to the point where it releases solar flares or Coronal Mass Ejections (CME). Sometimes the Sun doesn’t show any coronal activity at all but in recent years we have received plasma bursts so powerful that it has affected the electric power grid of Earth. This film explores some of the ways in which the Sun and the Earth seem to be conversing through a dialogue of electrical singles and vibrations. From the darkest abyss of the ocian to the great expanse of the skys, we are powered by our Electric Sun.
