It's time to hit the road and explore Canada's Island Province. Prince Edward Island may be physically small but it's full of beautiful scenery, kind hearted people, and a richness that is unique to this special place.

Prince Edward Island is a great place to visit, and we made this our last destination in our east coast road trip. We took in the sights mainly on the east coast of the island, but saw a few cool places on the west coast as well, including a beautiful red sand beach close to the Confederation Bridge. These are a few of the sights that we saw along the way. Filmed on August 23rd and 24th on my Canon XA20.

This version is a bigger download size, but may look better when played on a big screen. ***UPDATE*** We're very excited to announce that Fish Tales has been selected to be screened at the 2014 Island Media Arts Festival, "the little festival of big dreams" in Charlottetown! Stay tuned for more info on screening time. For now, check out http://imaf.ca/ for more details. Thanks to everyone for your support! Fish Tales is a short documentary film shot on PEI in the summer of 2013. The film explores how rivers and waterways on Prince Edward Island influence Islanders’ views on social and environmental issues. We look at current realities and challenges in our rivers, including the human impact of catastrophic events like fish kills. Through interviews and storytelling with experts from all sides of the spectrum, Fish Tales captures how Islanders interact with these areas, and their perspectives on the future of our watershed heritage. We want to highlight that many Islanders, from all walks of life, are interdependent with, and have a responsibility towards, the health of PEI's historic waterways. Fish Tales was produced by a volunteer crew of Adnan Saciragic, Ashley Prince, Conor Leggott, and Hanna Hameline. The film was made possible by funding from the Environmental Coalition of PEI, and in-kind support from the Island Media Arts Co-op and the Holland College Photography and Digital Imaging Program.
