I worked with Sifu Leo Au Yeung (choreographer for the Ip Man movies) to create this film. Filmed over the space of a year and spanning all four seasons, The Spirit of Kung Fu is an introduction to a number of different kung fu styles including: Wing Chun Hung Gar Choi Lee Fut Tiger and Crane Iron Wire Fist and many more... The video showcases form demonstrations, application examples (including weapons) and also a history of each style. I am not a martial arts practitioner myself, but once I was introduced to these styles I knew that I wanted to make a film about them. I wanted especially to make people aware of martial arts styles which they may not have realised even existed, because without an interest or a willingness to learn, these art forms which have been perfected over generations may die out forever. And that would honestly be a real shame. So hit play and see what happens! Please contact me if you have any queries at all. Enjoy! After the conclusion of the 2014 Wind River Race, a few of us hadn't quite gotten our fix for the weekend. While some folks chose to make the hike up Eagle Creek that evening, I opted to get an early start and met the rest of the crew the following morning at Skoonichuck Falls (approx 4 miles up the trail). The evening hikers took the opportunity to explore the upper reaches of eagle creek, hiking up above Tunnel Falls before putting on the creek (approx 8 miles). We had 9 paddlers on the water, plus another hand full of hikers who helped carry gear and take photos. Matt, Jacob, and Ryan fired off Metlako, while I stuck with Skoony and Punchbowl. Jacob chose to paddle his IK on this trip and his decent of Metlako has to be up there in terms of bigger drops that have been attempted in a duck. All in all, Eagle Creek always lives up to the billing.

From the creators of Dragonshirts, comes PUNCHER. "When corporate fat cat Micky Steinstein threatens the future of the local Dojo, lifelong companions and elite prizefighters Danny Smash(Bobby Dagget) and Warren Bestfriend(James Marcel) must band together to defend it-- That is, until greed creates a violent rift in their friendship. With the taste of betrayal fresh in his mouth, Danny must continue his noble quest alone. Puncher is a high-octane, adrenalin-pumping, gut-wrenching thrill ride, from the first bone-crunching punch to the last." All the music for this was written by Bent 2.0, and we recorded all the sound effects ourselves. That makes this the first thing we made without stealing.
