        Playing around with Steve Reich's "Piano Phase" on a Make Noise/Expert Sleepers 3U, with a little help from a Korg NanoKontrol and Ableton Live. Square wave --> Maths Ch. 1 & Ch. 4 Trig in Ch. 1 EOR out --> VCA 1 signal in Ch. 2 EOC out --> VCA 2 signal in VCA 1 & 2 out --> monitors Adjusting the Rise time (either manually or with voltage) changes the division amount www.diode-ring.com

                      Using a pair of Maths as voltage controlled clock dividers. On each, Ch.1 is used as a clock divider and Ch.4 is used as an envelope generator. A Function module is being clocked at an undivided rate (opening the bass tone's VCA), and is included as a reference. Basic patch: Signal --> VCA signal in Trigger --> Maths Ch.1 Trig in Maths Ch.1 EOR --> Maths Ch.4 Trig in Maths Ch.4 out --> VCA CV in Adjusting Ch.1's Rise time (either manually or with voltage) will change the value of the clock's division. www.diode-ring.com
