Rambert Dance Company is the oldest dance company in Britain. Founded by Marie Rambert in 1926, its first performance marked the foundation of British Ballet. It is recognised as the national company for contemporary dance in the UK, employing 22 dancers from around the world. This film explores the key creative aspects, including choreography, music, and design, of some of the most important productions in Rambert's history. It was created by young people aged 14 - 16 in a one week project with Lambeth CLC and Rambert Dance Company made possible by support from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
