In this message Pastor Houser warns the Christian of the entrapment of sexual temptation. With references to the books and new movie with the same name "50 Shades of Grey", he reminds us how God wants to bless us and how the devil uses one of God's greatest gifts to destroy us. After all, sex was made by God, and God blesses that as long as it is done in the right context. Done outside the bounds, however, leads only to pain and suffering. For a short feeling of bliss, we sell our souls, and loose God's best for us, with even the potential for eternal damnation. He warns us that though the book and movie is touted as a love story, it has nothing to do with love, and everything to do with selfishness, and degradation. https://www.avemariapress.com/product/1-59471-386-3/Rebuilt/ Jesus established the Church to be a movement, yet so many of our parishes have become static institutions. Some of our members come to meet an obligation or to set a good example for their kids. Others come to be consumers. If the Church is to be a movement, it means that individuals have to move. In this webinar, Tom Corcoran, co-author of the best-selling book Rebuilt, will look at six practical strategies that will help the members of your parish transition from consumers to contributors.

http://rebuiltparish.com Many parishes are struggling to maintain membership, regain relevance, and grow momentum. Numbers are declining and the influence the Church has on the people in the pews is declining as well. In this webinar, Father Michael White and Tom Corcoran, pastor and pastoral associate of the Church of the Nativity in Timonium, Maryland and authors of the new book, Rebuilt: Awakening the Faithful, Reaching the Lost, and Making Church Matter, share their experience of frustration with the decline of the Church’s influence in their parish and what they did to change consumer Catholics into contributing ones. In this webinar, you will learn three simple steps you can take to help transform your parish from a church with a consumer focus to one that reaches out to the community and grows disciples within. Steps to Take: 1. Change your focus to who is not in the pews. 2. Define the “Lost” Person in your area 3. Challenge "Church People" to make the Church accessible to the lost. https://www.avemariapress.com/webinars/ Why do teens graduate from their faith when they graduate from high school or eighth grade? In most cases, they never made a personal connection with the local church. While traditional religious education is filled with priceless information and catechesis, the delivery system of that information is insufficient. This next generation of disciples doesn't need more schooling. They need Christ-like relationships with their peers as well as men and women who display healthy relationships with Christ and their Catholic faith. Small groups will achieve this. Through small groups, kids and teenagers will grow deeper in their faith, connect with the local church, and experience true life change. Chris Wesley, Director of Student Ministry at Church of the Nativity (the inspiration for the book Rebuilt), will focus on why small groups are essential to student ministry, what a healthy small group looks like, and how you can get them started in your parish. La Petite Méca is a custom motorcycle shop located in the heart of Paris, in a sunny street between Bastille and République, next to the fixed gear Cyclope strore. For a few months, Bige, lonely mechanic, and Louis-David, photographer, and author of this documentary will work around a 15 year old Harley Davidson. The craft will undergo a radical transformation that is taking place here, step by step. As a final touch, the tank will be repainted using the metal flake technique. The result is a tonal matte / shiny black with a sparkly blue button, a single bike with a wild look. These images are the result of a long process and mark the meeting of two lovers of custom culture. www.louisdavidnajar.com www.freakstreets.wordpress.com Music : The Alan Parsons Project : I wouldn't want to be like you I Robot
