A better version of Teac X range and there were many, to a point of confusion. This is a Master Recorder, which means it has 15 IPS speed and records in two tracks

This is a pro level cassette recorder, used to be called "field recorder". Many others made similar things: Technics, Sony, Panasonic etc - not made it as lovely as this machine.

This is one of the very rarest reel to reel recorders to come out of Japan. Back in 76-77 it was at a cost of Yen 800000; just for comparing purposes - the other "big ones" were much less: Sony TC-880 at Yen 550000 and Akai Pro 1000 was offered for Yen 398000. It sounds heavenly!!!
