Like the electronic devices humans have become dependent upon, humans require recharging. From the beginning, mankind has been recharged by nature to overcome challenges confronted…too much technology can become an overwhelming challenge. The more sophisticated machines can be engineered to extend the productivity of human intelligence, the more dependent upon machines we become to function. We can no longer live without them. We can only be wound up tighter and tighter tied to high tech smart phones, computers, social media, TV, autos, even exercise machines. Humans are not machines, but rechargeable neurons signaling their cells, descendants of parents of neurons and cells, descendants of nature. To maintain their humanity tethered to technology, humans need a recharging by nature. They need to touch foot to the nature that's vibrating out the same energy that has kept humanity charging ahead for eons. The greatest recharging you can experience is at a nature preserve of open air, open lands, open waters. The strongest natural energy and recharge generated will be at the place you can walk, hike, climb or swim that fills the eyes with nature virtually untouched by man and machine. There you will be bathed in the nearest to the same energy that ushered man through the millennium. Search your Google machine for the closest of these. You don't want to be wound up tight fighting traffic in your auto machine getting there. There are those to be found, but if not, smaller parcels of nature can do by making more frequent breaks from technology. You'll know when your natural battery is running low, when the tech winds you up tight and threatens to unfold. Then beat a path to that place you have discovered to leap back 1000 years for a recharge.
