Largest refugee camp in the world, Dadaab-Kenya. All refugees from Somalia. There are 80% women and children. The most inspired, positive, lovely, strong people. They have nothing materially, but number one is being connected with everyone. Then you feel a more realistic world. Not an illusion world. Being connected there is more love in the world. That is what I experienced there. They can live in a hard world (also the drought is very intense) but they never give up! The western world can help them; great organisation like UNHCR are helping them a lot and people from africa, can help the western world too. We are... ONE! My email is; jeannettemichelle@me.com. My website is momentinbeeld.com. So this email now works better. Mobile number is; +31-6-50123652. That is why I so give information on vimeo. March 2015 It's been nearly 25 years since more than 100 thousand ethnic Nepalese were expelled by Bhutan and stripped of their citizenship. Many ended up in refugee camps in eastern Nepal. Bhutan has remained silent about their repatriation. But many are still clinging to the hope of returning. Al Jazeera's Subina Shrestha reports from the Beldangi Refugee Camp in eastern Nepal.

The Subbas have been in Phoenix for one year and three months. Before that, Mr. and Mrs. Subba had lived in one of the seven Bhutanese refugee camps in eastern Nepal for over 20 years. They had their daughter there in 2003. From 2007 IOM and UNHCR jointly initiated a third country resettlement program for some 107,000 Bhutanese refugees living in Nepal, providing them opportunities to move to eight different countries. U.S. started to take this group in 2008 and has accepted over 78,000 by the end of 2014, making Bhutan one of its top refugee-sending countries.

A film made FOR thousands of Congolese refugees living in Kala and Mwange refugee camps, Zambia in 2009. It documents the repatriation process, imagery from returnee areas, and messages from repatriates, family members and friends. The film contributed to the repatriation of over 8,000 refugees to Katanga Province in the Democratic Republic of the Congo following ten years of asylum in the refugee camps. It complimented "go-and-see" programs, offering an encouraging and hopeful perspective around the inherently difficult process of repatriating and rebuilding lives with very little.
