Iranian Converts Bringing Life to German Church BERLIN -- Parts of Germany are among the most godless areas in the world. Polling shows that belief in God in the old communist east is only 13 percent. But church attendance is growing, thanks to former Muslims from Iran. At the House of God's Help (Church) in Berlin, Persian converts to Christianity have doubled the size of the congregation. "It came like an unexpected summer rain," church deaconess Rosemarie Götz said. "Suddenly new people started coming every week and asked to be baptized."

"Wou Ba’aden?" In Arabic, these two words mean both "what now?" and "until when?" These two words can often be heard in the informal settlements; as people queue to receive distributions of aid; or at the side of the road, where children sell tissues and chewing gum to earn a few coins to bring home to their families. It’s a question without an answer - yet it’s asked over and over again, as if to ward off the future and everything it might hold. "Life after". After the war, after the exodus, a new chapter begins. And with it come new challenges: how do you survive from one day to the next - and how do you maintain your dignity amidst it all? The aim of this interactive web documentary is to help you, the viewer, imagine what life is like for Syrian refugees in Lebanon; to imagine how it feels when every aspect of life - eating, drinking, sleeping, going to the toilet - is a challenge which must be faced over and over, day after day. For 1.5 million people, this is an everyday reality. Through “Wou Ba’aden", SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL seeks to bring this reality to life.
