This was done as a requirement for EMC 3100 Intermediate Digital Animation at MTSU. The assignment was to find an indoor photo that we could reproduce in Maya. The photos came from the internet, so we had no information on the cameras used. We had to guess what the focal length was by matching the grid in Maya to the floor in the picture. We then modeled, textured, lit, and rendered the scene to match the photo. All of the animation was done in Maya 2011. The final composite was done in After Effects CS5.

The Canon ELPH 530 HS seemed like a great camera for my wife's handbag to replace the slightly larger Canon SD3500 IS. On paper the ELPH 530 surpassed the SD3500 in everyway except for the smaller screen. However, it came up short in audio quality. The camera was returned.

Download these files here: http://goo.gl/mZhTr This is three 1920×1080 HD videos of sperm swimming onto a human egg and trying to be the fist one inside the egg. The difference between the three videos one contains about 150 sperm all around the egg and very small, the other has just one sperm swim up and try to get into the egg and the final one has about 10 sperm swim up and try to get into the egg from one side. This could easily be used as a concept for getting pregnant, new life, offspring, a sexually transmitted disease, having sex, about semen and the egg, competition between sperm, how reproduction works, etc.
