This video is the first of many that will follow and document the research being done by Everglades Foundation science staff. Steve Davis and Tiffany Troxler are co-principal investigators setting up for the first of a series of experiments they will be conducting on-site in the upper-keys portion of Everglades National Park. Their experiments involve testing the effects of sea-level rise on coastal wetlands by manipulating water levels on soil samples they have collected from the region. The results of their work may reveal links to plans for Everglades restoration in the future. Produced by Jessica Hodder for The Everglades Foundation.
