Trivial Pursuit wanted to be back on top in the trivia industry. We wanted to re-imagine trivial pursuit so that it could reclaim being a leader in the trivia market. We brought conceptual ideas and extensive research to the table which means new product categories and more importantly, new customers. We got to know not only the mechanics of trivia, but the human interaction of how it can be fun and inviting. We broke down what was enjoyable in different styles of trivia, and then applied our observations to game play “dynamics”. This mix and match tool kit we supplied to them was much more than a boring research document Now Hasbro has new opportunities toolkit, new markets, new products, and most importantly new customers so that business impact is naturally happening for years to come. No multiple choice necessary.

Reset. Come back to center. With a camera in the studio and the constant "what of this will I post this week Thursday?" question in the back of my mind I found I was spending too much time considering what it all looks like. In an attempt to find the felt experience and make sure I reset to the root of my movement practice I set up the camera, closed my eyes, and made 'uninteresting,' 'unbeautiful' things. If the point of this whole endeavor was to solidify a more consistent performance practice, then I cannot forget those words I had tattooed on my arm and yet somehow seem to miss seeing: Stillness, Silence, and Grace. It doesn't have to 'look good' or 'entertain' but it does have to be true. Here are a few minutes of that reset/research.

        • To Walk or Roll: The Controversy Over Walking and Research

          01:08:20

from NW Regional SCI System / Added

By Michael Boninger, MD, University of Pittsburgh. Will I ever walk again?" This is frequently the first question a patient with a new spinal cord injury asks. A focus on walking is normal after what can be a devastating injury. However, over time the focus on walking often fades and other issues that impact daily living move to the top of the wish list. Is there peril if individuals with SCI and researchers focus on walking too much? Where should we be putting our scant SCI research dollars? Our special guest speaker, Michael Boninger, MD, examines this complex issue from the standpoint of both a dedicated physiatrist who has worked with SCI patients for over 20 years and a prominent researcher seeking solutions to the many problems caused by these injuries. Dr. Boninger is professor and chair of the PM&R Department at the University of Pittsburgh, where he also serves as the medical director of the Human Engineering Research Laboratory and director of the SCI Model System.

Documentary about interdisciplinary dance research through the subjective experience of the camerawoman. As camerawoman I have been part of the project 'Invisible Body' accompanying the process from moving between the insider/outsider perspective. 'In Between' negotiates my intense journey in order to get closer to the project and its yet invisible core. Official summary: Ana Ladas brought together two musicians, two dancers and a camerawoman for a project called 'Invisible Body'. The aim was to research the influence the participants have on each other. Improvising without knowing who starts and who leads. 'In Between' shows four days of dance, music and film experimentation and a presentation from the camerawoman's perspective. This film shows solely the feelings of the camerawoman through her camera movements. In the post production these feelings were enhanced for the viewer by sounds, colour grading and editing in order to get as close as possible to the camerawoman’s subjective experience.
