Mostly uncut footage of the flesh fly from my previous video, "Arthropod Anthology." Note that this is actually slowed down to less than half the original speed. Canon EOS Rebel T2i / 550D 18-55mm (kit lens) 1280x720, 60p (interpreted as 24) Fotodiox 58mm reverse mount adapter I'm not sure why the sound got cut in the last two shots (editing this footage in Premiere CS3 surely has something to do with it) but the sound isn't important anyway.

Shot in my backyard and basement. My first attempt at macro cinematography (here with a reversing ring), something I've always wanted to try. Obviously focus is very hard, and the long portion with the ants toward the end is a tremendous example of DSLR cameras' rolling shutter issues. Canon EOS Rebel T2i / 550d 1080p24 and 720p60 (interpreted as 24p) Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 (kit lens) Fotodiox 58mm reverse mount adapter ISO 400-1600 Music: "The Phororhacos" (from 'Mysterious Island') by Bernard Herrmann

I set up my GH1 for macro shots again. Just a reverse ring, the homemade slider and two very common objects. I hope you like it! ---------- Altre cop, he configurat la GH1 per fer macros. L'adaptador d'òptiques al revés, el travelling i dos objectes força comuns. Espero que us agradi! The reverse ring adapter is amazing, I paid 5USD for it. It turns my 50mm into a nice macro lens and transforms the 28mm into something close to a microscope! : ) I used it in conjunction with my new home built slider. Thanks for watching! ---------- L'adaptador per posar les òptiques del revés és collonut. Em va costar 5 dòlars! Transforma un 50mm en un bon macro i un 28mm en quasi un microscopi! Ho he combinat amb el travelling casolà. Gràcies per mirar-ho! ---------- Camera Panasonic GH1, 720 50p Lens: Nikkor 50mm f1.8, Nikkor 28mm f2.8 Reverse ring adapter Homebuilt slider Music: Appledog ( http://www.appledog.net )
