    The Burney Raiders softball team's season came to a finish May 7, 2010, with a double dip against the Fall River Bulldogs. The host Bulldogs won the first game 9-2. In the dip, the Raiders and Bulldogs battled for nine innings with Burney emerging 11-9. Burney finished the season with a mark of 6-17.       The Fall River Bulldogs secured their Shasta Cascade League title with a two-game sweep of the visiting Burney Raiders on May 7, 2010. The Bulldogs won the fist game 11-2 then went on to take the nightcap 12-2. The Raiders end their season with a record of 3-19. Fall River (18-5) will now prepare to host a Division V playoff game on May 14. The Bulldogs 2010 SCL title is a repeat of last year.                 The Big Valley baseball and softball teams met the Greenville Indians at Big League Dreams for a Feather River League doubleheader April 23, 2010. The Cardinals softball team forced the 10-run mercy rule in both games with scores of 11-1 and 10-0. On the big diamond, the Cardinals took the first game 11-1 and completed the sweep with a 4-0 in in the dip.

                      The Raiders baseball team played its sixth game in four days, concluding with an 11-4 loss to the Yreka Miners. Burney started April 6 with a Shasta Cascade League doubleheader against Mt. Shasta, dropping both 5-4 and 7-4 at Big League Dreams. The first game applied to the start of Central Valley's 32-team Bass Easter Baseball Tournament. Burney finished with a tournament record of 1-4 and posses an overall record of 1-11.
