Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening by Robert Frost recited by Bronwyn, age 5 (almost 6) *************************************************** Whose woods these are I think I know. His house is in the village though; He will not see me stopping here To watch his woods fill up with snow. My little horse must think it queer To stop without a farmhouse near Between the woods and frozen lake The darkest evening of the year. He gives his harness bells a shake To ask if there is some mistake. The only other sound's the sweep Of easy wind and downy flake. The woods are lovely, dark and deep. But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep

The visual and narrative proposition was to show with emotion the state of relationship with nature and his horse of the authentic and traditional cowboy. In base to the well known poem by Robert Frost, we built a non lineal story relating a character that could represent all the virtues of the brand. The old fashioned man. Shot in both exteriors and interiors, Antioquia, Colombia. 2014 Acting: Martín Mesa Londoño. Created by #WhiteCloudFilms

Luckily, 16 mm film, common from the 1920s through the 1960s, is relatively durable stuff. This particular reel of film, which sat in the Middlebury College archives for over forty years, depicts Robert Frost for two glorious, full color minutes. For the first time in nearly half a century (thanks to a film preservation lab in Philadelphia), watch as Frost harvests vegetables from his garden at his Ripton, Vermont cabin (down the road from the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference), frolics with his dog Gillie, and walks his mare Steeplebush and her colt Shadbush. Frost and Kay Morrison pop freshly berries into their mouths. Summer time on the mountain! This seems to be an arranged photo shoot. You can see the flash from some photos that were used in a the 1954 Middlebury College Publication "Robert Frost", although we suspect that the film/photo session occurred a few years before that.
