In this video update with only a few days left in the campaign, we are taking the time to speak with artist/fabricator/designer and friend Rachel De Urisote! She's responsible for making the sweet crow totem in CROW HAND!!! And now she is making awesome finger puppet toys as prizes for our indiegogo campaign. Check out the video as she goes over her process and we show off the puppets made already. To get yourself a good Gwilliam or CROW HAND prize go here: http://igg.me/at/gwilliam/x/152113 For more details on her process go here: http://www.goldfishunderwater.com/how-are-gwilliams-made/ Rachel's Website is here: http://www.goldfishunderwater.com Rachel's Social Media Outlets are here: facebook.com/rachel.deurioste goldfishunderwater.tumblr.com/ instagram.com/goldfishunderwater

We have developed a robot hand, using cheap materials and simple to find, able to replicate movements of the fingers of a user wearing a glove on which are mounted the sensors of flexion. For each finger was associated with a musical note played every time that will flex a finger. The system is composed of: a hand built with the flexible corrugated hose driven by servomotors and 5, a glove on which are mounted 5 sensors bending, an Arduino Uno with Protoshield on which it was achieved a voltage divider for the detection of changes in resistance of the individual sensors of flexion. You can find wiki page on http://hacklabterni.org/projects/manobot/wiki

Not much to say about this one, I had a homework assignment to model and animate a robotic limb and I decided to have a little bit of fun with it. I'm really happy with how the model turned out. I also learned that C4D joint limits don't play nice with IK chains... AT ALL. The scene is completely dynamic (minus the keyframe animation for the hand moving) so the ball is actually being gripped and picked up by the robot. I really enjoy modeling mechanical stuff like this and I hope I have time to work on it some more. Maybe I'll design a mech or something.
