    • ARCHIVES - 16 Awesome Modelling Tools - HD

      from Philippe M. "MeshWeaver" Added 13.5K 51 11

In this video I'll be going over 16 really useful tools I use most often when modelling. You'll find tools such as: - Extrude - Loop Cut - Recalculate Normals - Grab/Rotate/Scale - Invert Selection and lots more! This tutorial is also much different than my previous videos. It's my best one so far, if I say so myself :D

      • Text Placement, Fonts and Strings

        from Albert Schueller Added 58 1 0

Here we go through an exploration of text placement and string usage. We finish with a fairly detailed example of putting hour labels on the clock we created earlier. Along the way we discuss text alignment, text width, text height, text size, and text color. We also touch on PVector objects and the rotate method.

        • Rotating broken text animation - Cinema 4D

          from Rich Aguilar Added 10.3K 228 13

In this tutorial we are going to hop back into Adobe's Illustrator and break up our text using the pen tool. Then animate the text in Cinema 4D with a cool rotating animation. Then we will hop right into After Effects for some compositing. We will be using shader effectors, plain effectors and much more. • 2D Transformations: translate(), rotate()

            from Albert Schueller Added 53 2 0

Here we talk about 2D transformations. We discuss translations and rotations. We write a simple program that allows the user to move a smiley face image about the screen using translations and to orient the face using rotations.

              from Albert Schueller Added 107 3 1

Here we continue the exploration of 2D transformations through the creation of a simple clock. We use nested transformations to render a clock along with tick marks, a second hand, and a minute hand.

Students learn how to prepare photographs for print or online publication. Rotate, tone, sharpen images and remove dust spots using Adobe PhotoShop CS5. This lecture goes with Chapter 9 of "Photography" by London, Stone and Upton. Students learn how their photos should be toned for future graded projects.

This video explains how to do key-frame animation in Blender 2.5. It shows how to manage f-curves in the graph editor, edit extrapolation types, add modifiers to f-curves, insert key-frames, next and previous key-frame buttons, grabbing and moving key-frames in time. rotating f-curves, automatic animation record, simplify f-curves add-on, and the difference between bezier and linear curve types.

                    • ZBrush - Transpose Rotate For Sweeping, Bending , Curving ,Flares etc

                      from The Candyfloss Kid Added

Some practical examples for new users of ZBrush on the many uses for transpose rotate for modeling purposes. For this method to work well you must have a good level of mesh resolution or subdivision as well as a soft mask. NB: Blur the mask by cntrl clicking on the mask. Another suggestion although not demonstrated is to use radial symmetry for sweeps in all directions. I added this video simply because most information for transpose rotate tends toward limb posing rather than common modeling uses. see also https://vimeo.com/52831516 for using the alt key with the transpose tool.
