      Working with Wieden + Kennedy, we produced this installation for Nike on the edge of Soccer City, Johannesburg for the World Cup 2010. The installation, created as part of Nike’s Write the Future campaign, was exhibited across a custom built screen measuring 44 meters high, the biggest in the southern hemisphere. The piece was a dynamic animation system that pulled moderated text submitted by fans from a variety of Nike digital social spaces (managed by Deeplocal in Pittsburgh, USA) across the screen and into a giant animation of World Cup player portraits. Multiple text feeds built up each image, which pictured the player that the fans text submissions referred to. A separate system was provided for photographically documenting all the submissions (a photographer shooting in the early hours of the morning) which were then posted on an online gallery and sent back to the fans that had submitted the text.         With Director Caswell Coggins of Crossroads Films, we set out to create a TVC and online music video using footage of thousands of people singing Lily Allen’s ‘The Fear’ while playing Xbox 360′s game ’Sing with Lips’; shot on a six week tour around the UK. We defined the way in which the public performances were shot and moderated to work with our bespoke composition software, used to create the Lily montage. We created a database system that allowed us to vary the complex aspects of the film outputted by our automatic software system, as well as assisting the director to identify the right performance for the edit. The campaign’s website generated 32 million page impressions, and is one of the most viewed music videos on MSN.             'Starts With V' is a broadcast, real world and online campaign staring a massive, mobile, instant graffiti paintball gun. We lead the online communication and development of the project. While The Sweet Shop built the real-life gun and created the TV commercial, we built a digital version that users could design artwork for and fire. Hosted within a website and Facebook application across dual markets, designs could be drawn within an online tool, or uploaded via Facebook, desktop or webcam. Interactive videos of each artwork being fired could also be shared directly into social networks. The best artwork submissions, as voted by users, were then fired through the actual paintball machine gun at a live event.               The Rumpus Room worked with Mother London to create Amplichoir, a pan-European initiative that aspired to become the biggest user-generated online choir in the world. Devised to promote Dell’s sponsorship of the MTV Europe Music Awards 2009, Amplichoir combined people’s love of creating personal content with a specially designed online crowd-sourcing mechanic.People filmed themselves via webcam performing a short karaoke piece. These recordings were then moderated and scored based on each visual and vocal performance. The system created the giant choir from these moderated submissions using the performance scores to compose the film.Amplichoir was built to be distributed across any digital / social media space and easily modified in terms of resolution and format, allowing us to create content that was suitable for high resolution broadcast, digital outdoor and the internet .Each entry was rewarded with a personalised film starring the performer in the centre of their own choir, as well as the tools to share this content through their social media spaces.                       An online competition inviting people to tell the world why they wanted a ‘Mac Over’. The winner would become the face of the new Mac Me Over cosmetics line. Our brief was to find a simple and intuitive solution for people to submit their entries online. Working closely with MAC we created a social-centric activation where the audience were the content of the campaign. Through an interactive gallery website MAC were able to invite their online community to express themselves and share their favourite hopefuls. To ensure it was easy to enter, our site supported video and photo/text submissions via a standalone application, webcam, and by upload.
