Blue Creek Road is a great dual-sport ride. The road is easy with nice scenery as it climbs through meadows and forests. This is a great road for larger dual-sport or adventure bikes. It was a nice relaxing end to our six-day journey.

Riding up and over Cinnamon Pass, at 12,640' elevation. The trail was rougher than I expected, but not difficult on a dirt bike.

This ATV trail was the most difficult, but also the most fun, of the trails on our 6-day adventure ride. Most of the trail is pretty nice, but there are some stream crossings, rocky sections, and steep climbs. The trail starts a few miles from the Rio Grande Reservoir and climbs to the continental divide where it meets the top of Wager Gulch. We also stopped briefly at the Carson ghost town.

Stony Pass was a very enjoyable ride - even in the rain. It began to rain as we started up the trail and rained on and off until we were well on our way down the other side. The ride from Silverton to Stony Pass is pretty easy as is most of the ride down the other side. There are, however, a few sections on the southern side that are quite steep and rocky. We were glad to be going down these sections. Stony Pass is along the Continental Divide and the road on the southern side follows the Rio Grande River from its headwaters. Much of the trail is really fun and scenic. We camped just up river from the Rio Grande Reservoir.

We attempted to ride up Kendall Mountain to enjoy the view overlooking Silverton. The trail is quite steep with lots of loose rocks which proved to be very challenging for those on heavily loaded KLRs. We decided it wasn't worth the effort, so we never made it to the top. I did, however, see a Bobcat on the way up. Unfortunately he is almost impossible to see in my helmet camera video.

Before breaking camp, we took a quick ride up to Clear Lake, at almost 12,000' elevation. Ross and Bob did a little fishing, but without luck.
