1. Upskirt - by storm edge design

    from Fitzroy Amsterdam / Added

In order to introduce the new Hyundai Santa Fe, Fitzroy Amsterdam developed an edgy campaign where the new design – the so called Storm Edge design – is placed centrally. With this new design Hyundai pushes the boundaries within their communication. This is perfectly in line with their pay-off slogan: “New thinking. New possibilities.” The sensual campaign can be admired on the internet as well as television. Agency: Fitzroy Amsterdam Production: 100% Halal Productions Music: Sizzer Amsterdam Client: Hyundai Netherlands

SKYS is the culmination of about two years of setting up a tripod and a camera, pointing it at the sky and waiting for something interesting to happen. I've seldom gone out with the express intention of shooting a timelapse but instead carry my trusty Canon 5DmkII and a tripod with me while on vacation, on jobs, bicycling or hiking around. I try to let the sky come to me and with good luck I've managed to capture a few. There's a bit of flicker, some dirt on the lens and maybe a jump or pop here or there but after four months of processing to remove such artifacts it's become time to move on and let it out into the world. I hope you enjoy it. Music: 2001: A Space Odyssey - On the Beautiful Blue Danube, The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, 2001: Music from the Films of Stanley Kubrick. Tools include Canon 5D's for camera raw, DSLRemoteHD, Canon Intervalometer, After Effects for GBDeflicker and RSMB, Final Cut 7 for CHV Long Exposure and Final Cut X for editing prores 4444 10bit. This amazing two-hour feature was produced for about $1500 (mostly food and gas) around Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1995 by Mark Oliver and his merry band of cohorts. Those seeking pristine production to "professional standards" will not find any jib arms, steadycams. dollies, grips or gaffers in Oliver’s hilarious adventure. Production equipment was a VHS videocam borrowed from the local public access channel. Edit was linear, no Final Cut Pro then, requiring extensive edit planning. Mark’s model was the film Paris Texas. What is left are the bare naked bones of filmmaking. Natural acting, spontaneous humor, and a defiant disregard for convention play against raw desert beauty. I met Mark Oliver during my first week in Santa Fe. At the end of my first set at a coffeehouse, a tall, long-haired dude walked up and asked me to help him with the soundtrack for a “road movie we made this summer.” For several days I floated on the dream that this guy was Hollywood calling. No. Mark Oliver was much better. The project was my first soundtrack. I learned much that would prove of value in my TV show of the next decade. More important, I made a beautiful friend. And I became part of an underground film masterpiece, which won several awards. The 1996 premiere at Plan B in Santa Fe ended with a long standing ovation from an audience which had laughed almost throughout the film, except in a few serious parts. If I wasn’t so biased, I’d compare Oliver’s film to Cheech and Chong, Harold and Kumar and other pot-film classics. Like those, KLIP reaches beyond the jokes into the heart. Now it’s free for everyone to see. You will be amazed how fast these two hours go by. More films at MarkOliver, org
