Video Directed and Edited by: Electrosexual. Music By Electrosexual. http://www.electrosexual-official.com BIOS: Fred Willem / Faxman (Berlin-Beirut-Brussels,.....) Artist-photographer-and digital performer. www.myspace.com/fredwillem. Electrosexual is a French electronic musician, composer, arranger, performer and record producer originating from france and based in Berlin, Germany. www.myspace.com/electrosexual Es mag nützlich sein, aber ein Faxgerät bleibt ein eher trauriger und sperriger Gegenstand. ELECTROSEXUAL - SUPERFLY GUY------------------------------------------ Electrosexual's passion for early electronic engines and primitive analogic electronic music inspired his creativity mingling of rough masculine basses and vintage analog synths with an uptempo rhythm. He is the Electro Sex precursor and pioneer in France. This musical genre also features artists such as Peaches, Lesbians On Ecstasy, Shunda K., Ssion & Scream Club, all of whom Electrosexual has worked with. He recently collaborated with the French Techno mentor David Carretta on his Kill the radio remix project (with kiko & the Hacker) for the Space Factory label , and the legendar K Records folk artist Mirah on the Joyride album. After his recent remixes for I Monster and Ssion, Electrosexual is finishing his album on his own label Rock Machine with Scream Club and featurings from Shunda K. of Yo! Majesty , Mz Sunday Luv, Robots In Disguise, Ssion ... Music & Video directed by Electrosexual

Kids from a local after-school program created scanner photographs of flowers to emulate the work of artist Robert Creamer. The kids first toured Creamer's exhibit, Transitions, which is on display at Piedmont Arts from July 10 - August 22, 2009. Then, groups of two created and scanned their own works of art to take home. Transitions: Photographs by Robert Creamer is organized by the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History and circulated by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibits Service (SITES).

The object in the middle of the beans is an almond. That represents people who don't quite fit in, or just seem to be disliked for one reason or another. It represents people who just don't always conform to general thinking. Hug those people today. I'm one of them. This video is an animation with 80 or so frames. I placed the beans directly on the scanner and moved them a little bit for each scan. When I finished with all the scanning, I loaded each frame into Microsoft Picture It. Then, I created a single gif file out of all the frames. Then, I loaded the gif file into Sony Vegas to put text, music, and a miniscule amount of effects. The beans behaved well on the scanner, with the exception of the dry ones because they cracked under the pressure of the scanner lid. I gently moved the beans around on the scanner, as to not scratch the surface. I stopped once to clean the scanner, that's why mid-way through the animation I cleared everything. I've done coffee bean animations before with my camera. The quality is better, but the scanner environment is much easier to control. MUSIC is from http://www.incompetech.com The song is "Somewhere Sunny"
