Every Halloween, the seniors at my school compose a video that assigns themes to each grade and each faculty department. Usually this video is merely a montage of clips. After the themes are assigned, every grade and department has two weeks to produce a video or skit in time for Halloween day. And comedy has long been the primary medium for our school's Halloween celebration. But this year Chris and I wanted to try something different. Bringing back some of the horror of a traditional Halloween, we wrote a horror movie introduction to the traditional theme assignment montage. The themes were chosen by our whole class, but the video is all written, directed, shot, and edited by us. The clips in the montage--starts at about 6 minutes in--are taken from YouTube. We claim no right to the footage, and no copyright infringement is intended.
