                • 'Know Hope Doc'

                  00:54

                  from BeardLAM Added 13 0 0

Whilst I've enjoyed my life's journey, I have had so many health set backs - 'mountains' I needed to climb - and some have been & still are mental mountains. The physical ones I've encountered since 2012, have held my fitness goals back, and as such, my dreams of cycling Ireland & beyond. My reasons for cycling all 32 counties are countless, but also mainly to do with 'fixing things'. I live to fix things, the 'truth' of things. I love many other things also, not just: 'the truth of things' (aka: my life's work). Now, whilst I know I've fixed an impossibly broken mind - a paranoid schizophrenic one - I also have no doubt that climbing such an 'Everest,' is a meaningless example to others who have no access to such a mountain 'view'. Schizophrenia is invisible. Like your dreams, last night, are invisible to everyone else, so is my mind: my world. Recently, I had the 'good' fortune to view two documented examples of hope shared on social media. One example was a man named Arthur Boorman, the other Derek Weida: a man who has made other videos. Derek made these videos, as Arthur made his, in order to tell a story of hope - their own - to give others what The World needs: HOPE. The World needs examples of hope - not just prime examples - but widespread examples of hope. But why this need, in the first place, to give others hope? A meaningful purpose cannot just be about avoiding 'death' - our own or 'ours' - but something worth fighting for: 'life'. A better & brighter life, a better & brighter journey: a better & brighter 'hope' for us all to breath, just like air. This is not only Derek Weida's gift to others - the gift of hope - it is also the very thing he needed to give his broken dreams - of being a lifetime career soldier - a new breath of life. The trick, to toughing out an arduous journey across oftentimes rough & unpleasant terrain, is to give it meaning: not meaningless reason. We all have fights to fight, and mountains to climb, and dreams to dream, and gifts to give others & The World... ...'Know Hope Doc', aims to ensure that all these 'things' don't break anyone else's hopes & dreams. That their 'truth' is highly visible & inspiring to others: not despairing. Indeed, without question, my hope is to fix hope and cast out: 'all doubts'. To clean the polluted air of the human spirit, for which there is no gene, and see it transform into the aether of pure imagination. The Enemy is more than terrorism, it's terror itself; and, besides symptoms of 'despair & doubt' infecting otherwise healthy hope, it is the unhealthy reason from which such 'poor intel' stems - about The Enemy & The World - that is in need of a thorough examination: a medical marvel of 'mind', 'body' & soul. As I already mentioned, I live to fix things, and reason is humanity's primary problem. After that, it's just us ;) Life is cruel. On the day I recovered from another bad back, I fell ill with sciatica for the first time in my life... ...I'd also just happily received, via post, a book on long distance cycling. Is sciatica a 'bad' thing? I would say, and have done already, that sciatica is quite an experience. So is: 'Fighting 'The Good' Fight'. So, is 'my' sciatica a bad thing? 'Good' for nothing? You tell me, once I've dreamed my dreams, and documented their rise. Deep Peace World & Much Freedom... M Ps this footage was edited Friday, filmed Monday - the day I fell down Mount Sciatica - and the dialogue was improvised: the words peaked my interest, and 'Know Hope Doc' was born. There was music playing in the background and the rights belong to their respective holders.
