Curious about Existence is collection of short episodes incorporating music, animation, and live action. It deftly combines humour and humanism to maintain the engagement of the viewer as s/he is drawn through a number of divergent narrative worlds. The thread that holds these worlds together is a sense of curiosity about the world, (spiritual and material) and its inhabitants: humans, animals, the laws of nature, and so on.

Dr. Grinspoon introduces the subject of Astrobiology and The NASA Astrobiology Institute and its team dedicated to investigating Titan. Next he breaks down the peculiar nature of Titan's thick, organic-rich, atmosphere and compares and contrasts it with Earth's atmosphere. David explains what we've learned from the Voyager mission to the outer planets and from the Cassini mission, currently in orbit around Saturn. Most importantly David breaks down life (as we know it) to its basic elements and goes into the possibilities of life on Titan. The curator of Space Sciences, Dr. Ka Chun Yu, also from Denver Museum of Nature & Science, introduces our speaker.

Animals and plants are distributed around the world naturally. Their individual adaptations make certain habitats ideal and others not. Throughout history, humans have moved plants and animals to new areas--sometimes sucessfully and at other times producing disastrous results. In today's Science Bite, Museum scientist John Demboski talks about introduced species and how they have become a part of our daily lives.
