This past December 2014, Skinny Water Culture hosted their annual Christmas Party. Tons of people gave donations such as toys, money, and canned goods for those in need of help. There was a raffle held with some great prices, such as fishing charters, fishing gear and even a small boat/paddleboard. Our raffle was a little different, we decided to make a video about "A Day in the Life" with Jason Fernandez and myself. One lucky winner, Mark Vedder, from Tampa Bay area, came out and hung out for 2 days and we recorded the whole thing. We had tons of fun filming this as always, I hope you guys like it, ENJOY!! -Dan

Last June, the Montana Wild crew was thirsty for some fly fishing. Black bear season was over but spring run-off most certainly was not, leaving few options for clear waters around Missoula. Zack, Travis and Sam decided to make the haul from Western Montana down to Eastern Oregon and check out a tiny, mysterious tailwater in the desert. This film is about a fly-flinging good time chasing some bucknasty brown trout who like to eat mice almost as much as mayflies. Look for it in the 2015 F3T Fly Fishing Film Tour! Bloodknots Flyfishing is proud to announce the success of our Kickstarter Campaign. Thank you to everyone that shared and contributed to this project. We look forward to bringing you a great film. Campaign Dates: 6/23/2014 - 7/23/2014 Link: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/bloodknotsflyfishing/101158548?token=2094bac6) *Project Background: "Our Two Hands" is an investigation into our societies complex and intimate relationship to fly fishing for Salmonids. How did we arrive at this crossroads of conservation and sportsmanship and what are the creative alternatives to the currently flawed management practices for Salmon and Steelhead? The balance and longevity of steelhead fly fishing culture lies in the fate of these fish. The beauty and pursuit of these fish has created a culture, community, and livelihood for recreational fly anglers, guides, small companies, artists and many others around the world. We want to introduce you to the new efforts being made in the conservation arena. The economics of fishery management, the guides on the river day in and day out, and the culture of two-handed rods and the swung fly. We could eventually lose the cumulative experience if we don't input a transfiguration of fishery management, re-think our world views regarding technology and nature, and come together as a community. Thank You, Bloodknots Fly Fishing Asher Koles, Brandon Tillotson, Brian Roller
