The final stage of the FVM safety training course is for journalists, camera crew and photographers to do some live reporting from the scene. (**UPDATE: Future Voices has ceased operation - please contact Sean Walsh for further information about filming and training**) Here three VIPs sponsors who have been observing the course are put on the spot - and are challenged to take part in a live two-way TV link with the studio. All three gave creditable performances - after facing bombs, bullets, stress and IEDs. The exercise gave them an insight into the pressures and demands facing journalists in the field. All three wore body armour and helmets for the duration of the exercise as part of the safety training. The filming took place in a more relaxed manner when the exercise was completed. The footage was shot using a Sony EX3 and the sound was recorded using the in-built camera mike. Editing and post-production was carried out using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects CS5. Filmed and edited by Sean Walsh. Feel free to explore the other video examples in the right-hand panel, and please visit www.visionworkstv.co.uk to find out more.
