On January 9, 2015, Burton Elementary School welcomed the Mariners Caravan. Students went wild during a visit by the Seattle Mariners Moose, pitcher Charlie Furbush, outfielder Stefen Romero, and Mariners Broadcaster Rick Rizzs. The Mariners told students why it's important to D.R.E.A.M. After their talk with students, Rick Rizzs explained to us what the acronym means.

This is one of two player headshots we created for the Seattle Mariners for the 2014 season. These are created for each (hitting) player, and are shown in-stadium during every home game. This headshot was designed to be shown full-board, in 3840x1080 resolution, hence the letterbox here on Vimeo.

We were thrilled to be asked to create some headshot concepts for the Mariners again this year, and apparently last year's "City" concept was so well-received, they wanted us to make a new version of it! These are created for every (hitting) player, and are shown in-stadium during every home game. We again tried to focus on the unique landmarks of Seattle, with the iconic Paramount Theater sign being the focal point for the player resolve. Big props to Bryan Keeling (www.bryankeeling.tv/) for helping out with the 3d elements of the Paramount.
