Otherwise known as "How fast can I fill up the memory buffer on a DSLR?". This is a *ridiculously* short proof-of-concept clip for an upcoming BTS fashion video I'm directing for Photohispana, to be released in April. Shot at the beautiful Parkside Mansion, in Denver, CO. I wanted to try something a little different and more creative with this video, so rather than shoot the entire video at 24p, I decided to put down my new C100 every once in a while, and shoot a rapid series of stills with the 5D Mark III -- I basically put it into burst mode, and fired off as many frames as I could while moving around. Then I pulled all the images into After Effects and treated it as a stop-motion sequence. Kind of a cool effect. I definitely think I'll be employing more of this technique in future projects -- It was super fun!

Shot using a Canon EOS 600D with magic lantern and 18-55mm lens. exposure 1min with 5sec interval, f5.6 iso800 and approx 10mm travel/shot. Testing out a shorter aluminium rail. Much easier to handle than the 3.5m steel although it does have a bit of flex/sag. Shooting was stopped early due to the rail twisting down forward so over time the camera lens pointed towards the ground...no good when shooting stars! Part f this twist has been taken out in FCX and resulted in a small zoom effect too.
