Some shots of the Nocturne Jazz Quartet show at the local restaurant next to my home, on february 29th, 2012. Nocturne quartet consists of Ari Erev on keyboards, Kobi Salomon on clarinet and saxophone, Simon Star on bass & Gilad dubretzky on percussions. This is the "regular edit": no cinemascope crop, no film grain, no color grading, only color correction, Titles in hebrew, as was upload to (cough, cough) youtube. Check out the cinemascope, graded version: https://vimeo.com/39013649 Sorry for all the people bumping into me, stepping on the audio cable, walking in front of the camera, eating and drinking, using their cell phones etc. Great performance by the band, though! Geek stuff (and lots of it): Shot on a canon 60d with magic lantern (great for focus) and Technicolor CineStyle, Manfrotto monpod, 3 Sigma lenses (10-20/3.5, 24-70/2.8, and the best value 70-200/2.8 OS. Sound recorded on location with zoom h4n. Edited on FCP X, color corrected and graded with colorgradingcentral.com S curve and cineLook+Gorilla Grain (great plug-in). Exported and cropped with Compressor. Comments & Questions are welcomed!
