1. Indian Creek

    from sinuhe xavier Added 80.4K 129 8

Sinuhe (sin-way) Xavier directed this little film during the early part of November, at the peak of the Indian Creek climbing season. Ace Kvale was kind enough to invite Sinuhe along for one of his still shoots with Marmot athletes, who also happen to be some of the best mountain guides in the world. This is the culmination of those two days in the desert. I met Aaron Huey at the Telluride Mountain Film Festival during May of 2011 and was instantly captivated with his work on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and his project, Honor The Treaties. We worked together with Shepard Fairey over the next several months to collaborate and bring something to the streets of Los Angeles. With help from Miguel of La Barracuda this 20x60 wall on Melrose Ave at Fairfax was secured. What you see here is the culmination of the tireless efforts of Aaron Huey and Shepard Fairey that took place November 26, 2011. In 2014 Sailor Jerry contacted Sinuhe Xavier to direct the new "Outside the Lines" campaign. Sinuhe was contacted not only because of his experience in commercial directing but also his speciality and knowledge of vintage auto, lifestyle branding and creative directing. "Outside the line Ethos: As soon as you push for people to stay inside the lines, there will always be people bold enough, stubborn enough, brave enough to live outside them. We support all manner of creative individuals. And that's not restricted to musicians and tattoo artists. The creative life is one where you follow what's inside you rather than what's pushed on you from society, your family, the media and all the other things in the world that try to tell us who we're supposed to be and what we're supposed to do. In our humble opinion, it's a better, more interesting world when everyone pursues whatever the hell they wish to pursue." - http://outsidethelines.sailorjerry.com

Adam Freeland with his live band which is fronted by Kurt Baumann and is known as FREELAND the band. The long awaited new single by Freeland (Adam's band)! Filled with paranoiac, satirical wordplay and skewed political commentary that complements the futuristic yet dissident sonics, 'Under Control' ultimately proves that rarity in club music: an anti-anthem with a brain, yet with beats ballsy enough to crush dancefloors in a neighborhood disco near you.
