But this isn’t about winter blues or summer depression. Sunny is a mental disposition, and not just one reserved for beaches and fun parks. Level 1 injected a positive mood into the ski season – giving a dose of light therapy to dark northern landscapes of Scandinavia, Alaska, Japan and British Columbia. Filmed on 4/6/10 at The Canyons resort in Park City, Utah. A classic late season storm was pounding the Wasatch mountains, leaving behind a bottomless blanket of deep blower pow. Just a few ridgelines over, little cottonwood canyon was shut down due to the danger of such a heavy snowfall. A few lucky folks and I spent the day blazing through the untouched aspen groves with feathery snow blowing over our shoulders on every turn. It was probably one of the best powder days I've ever had. (I say that a lot) music is from the original score of "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford". Composed by Nick Cave & Warren Ellis (2007)
