It was one hell of a journey during the fourteen months making Wyoming Wildscapes II, my second and final Wyoming related time lapse project. Had plenty of adventures while working on this. Lightning almost got me a couple of times this summer, gear froze up in the winter (literally), and broke a few times (don't think most of the time lapse gear was meant for extended wilderness backpacking), all that fun stuff. Despite any minor set backs, this was without a doubt one of the most fulfilling personal projects I've ever undertaken. Saw some pretty amazing stuff along the way, this part of the country never ceases to amaze and surprise me. Song is 'Dance of the Seven Sisters' - by Ghost Kollective Thanks for watching! _______ Ghost Kollective did an absolutely amazing job on the custom track. I've enabled the tip jar and any tips given will be sent to Ghost K (through my lightalivephotography paypal) for creating this track without seeking payment. Or you can cut out the middle man, do one better, and buy some of their music! https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/stop-ep/id661261808 Ghost K links: http://www.ghostkollective.com/ http://www.youtube.com/ghostkollective https://www.facebook.com/GhostKollective _______ My links: https://www.facebook.com/LightalivePhotography http://www.lightalivephotography.com/ https://plus.google.com/+Lightalivephotography/posts Some long winded stuff here for anyone interested in reading more about Wyoming Wildscapes II, including a bit about licensing. http://www.lightalivephotography.com/wyoming-wildscapes-ii

A film Directed/Written by Dan DiFelice 1st Unit Director & DP Andy Catarisano Score Salomon Ligthelm Sound Design Salomon Ligthelm Colorist Matt Fezz Visual Effects Dan DiFelice & Renato Marques Lead Talent Jon Prensner Boy Evan Slavens Grandfather Nelson Padgett Climbing Double Nate Grimm & Jon Caughlin Narration Peter Batchelor 2nd cams Jimmy Gable & Dan Mancini Special Thanks: Brian Harrison, Joe Kirdendall, Bobby Mikulus, Tim Dumais, Devin Smith, Nate Gonzalez Commissioned by our client, A/G NYM, we were charged with the task to create a short film based around theme "Finish(ed)" - the idea of overcoming the immediate while pressing on in the greater journey. It was filmed on site for 10 days in Colorado with Andy Catarisano leading the shoot and Jon Prensner feeling the cold burn of antiquated hiking gear. This project was conceptualized around a year ago, and the cast/crew did an exceptional job in bearing both sub-zero temperatures as well as the burden of time that a project can take. After an initial delivery 3 months into the project, the team charged through and pulled off sets of revisions to bring this piece to the place it deserved to be, so massive thanks to everyone. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. Psalm 46:2-3 The principle runs through all life from top to bottom. Give up yourself, and you will find your real self. Lose your life and you will save it. Submit to death, death of your ambitions and favourite wishes every day and death of your whole body in the end: submit with every fibre of your being, and you will find eternal life. Keep back nothing. Nothing that you have not given away will be really yours. Nothing in you that has not died will ever be raised from the dead. Look for yourself, and you will find in the long run only hatred, loneliness, despair, rage, ruin, and decay. But look for Christ and you will find Him and with Him everything else thrown in. C.S. Lewis

Saturday 4 februari 2012, was a cold but beautiful day. At 07:15 in the morning it was -18 degrees Celcius. The first shots were taken with these temperatures near the city Kampen in the Netherlands. Very cold but also a great spectacle with beautiful colors and fog. Later that day it was very bright and clear with awesome white landscapes. http://dailym.net/2012/03/white-world-by-ben/ Music by ferrie = differentieel 'Strike the Cello' is an attempt to Tame the Strings this is the well known composition of Henry Purcell that i did some months ago at http://audio.dailym.net/2011/12/strike-the-drums-in-a-free-way/ "Strike the Cello" by differentieel is licensed under a Creative Commons License "Strike the Cello" (differentieel) / CC BY-NC-SA 3.0

I know many of you in the northern lands must be a little tired of snow by now, but please bear with me while I share my short winter film of the snowfall we had late last week. Snow is a rarity in this part of the US, so it’s always an event when we do get it here in the south. I’m afraid this didn't last long, though – I was watching it fall off the trees as I recorded my footage, and I think that's what makes the video particularly interesting. This short video hopefully conveys the way I experienced it all through my camera's viewfinder. I hope you enjoy it, and thank you for watching. This little video was shot at Powder Mountain, a ski area in northern Utah. Pow mow flies below the radar as far as utah resorts are concerned, which is fine by me! This place is all about getting your pow turn on with your buddies, all day. Shot on a 5DmkII, handheld, with a 15mm fisheye. Tried to capture the feeling of shredding a resort on a typical utah pow day. Music is Jungle Lion by Lee "Scratch" Perry
