FeFa is a collaborative exhibition and performance work created by Maria Magdelena Campos-Pons and Neil Leonard for a first solo exhibition of Madgdalena Compos-Pons in Cuba after 22 years of living in the U.S. The work premiered at Casa de Las Americas in February 2012 and was further developed for the Havana Biennial in May 2012, FeFa stands for familiares en el extranjero, FE and family abroad, FA. It is both a character and a metaphor of the immigration, exile and family and community separation experienced by numerous Cuban families. The exhibition was designed to indicate that the bonds remain strong and necessary between the Cubans of the diaspora and those who stayed in Cuba. Despite the scattered fragments of their lives, a unity remains—that of family. On March 7 -8, 2013, Artists in Context organized a national conference at MIT to explore the ways in which artists are insinuating themselves into the major debates and challenges of our time. The conference consisted of four case studies of artists collaborating with other professionals on issues related to Health, Nature, Consumption and Justice.

This is the last video in my track construction series. In this video, I take the second hook I started last week, and develop it through, into an outro. From there, its just a matter of rounding off the edges, arranging it so it sounds natural, mixing all the elements together til its done!
