Afrian Skies 2 features the beautiful African Landscapes and their inhabitants. We did it again! But this time we wanted more! We traveled 6 Weeks through the most beautiful Landscapes of Namibia, Botswana and South Africa and shot literally every night - and day. We produced nearly 4 Terabytes of RAW data, shooting with 4 Cameras and I spent half a year of editing - this exceeded the limits of African Skies 1 by far. I edited the whole film in 4K. The video Sequences, shot with the Nikon D800 and D7100 had to be upscaled a bit (still no reasonable 4K Film-Camera available..) - the Time Lapse sequences, shot mostly with the Nikon D600, were downscaled from 6K. The whole editing and grading (video and time lapse) was done with LRTimelapse and Adobe Lightroom and then only cut in Premiere Pro - this lead to the amazing quality you can see - especially in the Download-Versions. Please find all info, and the 4K and Full HD downloads that will support the animals at: http://lrtimelapse.com/africanskies2/ Deutsch: http://gwegner.de/video/africanskies2/ Thank you!

This is a time-lapse film on my home city Durban filmed by Kierran Allen & Matt Wilkes. This was exclusively filmed on Nikon SLR's. After a year of shooting in and around the Durban area Matt Wilkes and myself Kierran Allen were finally done! We felt that we had what we needed to showcase Durban in a unique way! We are both such passionate and creative people and this is just how we see Durban, South Africa We waited for the best conditions weather wise to capture some of Durban's most spectacular views. We wanted to create something that would make Durbanites proud of their city. Thanks to Clik Elite SA, Redged and Lexar for sponsoring gear. I woke up when the plane wheels hit the tarmac. The flight captain announced over the intercom: "Welcome to Cape Town, the most beautiful city in the world" After picking up my rental car I hit the chaotic morning traffic. Driving on the wrong side of the road definitely made things interesting, along with the fact that the only driving directions that I had was a text message from my friend. About three hours later I was happy to find myself in a small town called Clanwilliam, the last place to get food and gas before driving to the Cederberg Mountains, home to the famed boulders of the Rocklands... Sometimes in April is a 2005 historical drama television film about the Rwandan Genocide of 1994, written and directed by the Haitian filmmaker Raoul Peck. The ensemble cast includes Idris Elba, Oris Erhuero, Carole Karemera, and Debra Winger. The story centers on two brothers: Honoré Butera, working for the tribalist Radio Télévision Libre des Mille Collines, and Augustin Muganza, a captain in the Rwandan army (who was married to a Tutsi woman, Jeanne, and had three children with her: Anne-Marie, Yves-André, and Marcus), who bear witness to the killing of close to 800,000 people in 100 days while becoming divided by politics and losing some of their own family. The film depicts the attitudes and circumstances leading up to the outbreak of brutal violence, the intertwining stories of people struggling to survive the genocide, and the aftermath as the people try to find justice and reconciliation. This is just a little piece highlighting my flashes in South Africa. Nothing special, just simple uncut shots of some the most beautiful boulders I have ever seen. Going to be releasing a full video in the next month showcasing many other classics and good friends Kasia Pietras, Chris Little and Ryan Copeland. Man, I miss this place..
