                from Molmol Added

May 15, 2013 9:30pm It works over wifi and Pi served as a server for local network and the first time we're able to talk to Pi via a webpage and make the R2 make random sound from internal speaker. 10:30AM R2 broke. It was perhaps EMF from Motor through Arduino to Pi while we rolled the motors without switching the power, or short circuit from constantly detaching and reconnecting the wires. It was a heart breaking moment when we realized that the SD card on Pi was completely unreadable and we don't have backup. Luckily there's internet and pre-build binaries package. 2:30 May 16, 2013 6:39 AM This is a child of love from Arduino, Pi, and Node JS. And Sparkfun, Adafruit, Sugru, Inventables, wifi adaptor from Australia, a cheap car USB charger from Puerto Rico, too.

                  from Tom Smith Added 18 0 0

Shows how a PC application mediates the relay of data around a 3 robot system. The network is a ZigBee star structure, where the PC controls the coordinator node to address each robot in turn and redistribute the state data. The hardware used includes XBee RF transceivers from Digi Inc., the XBee Xplorer from Sparkfun Electronics for connecting to a PC, and the NXTBee from Dexter Industries for connecting to Lego Mindstorms. It can be seen that this type of network is much quicker than the standard Bluetooth network.

Test run down the street in front of the house with BoxBot. Steering working, but nav is still struggling a bit. I think I need to increase the overall speed of the algorithm. Might need to turn off the logging and see if that helps...
