Do you want to see what is truly possible - not magic, but possible - for cleaning up nasty water to make it safe for drinking? Watch this video! The Back Story Eric Stowe promised that he would drink a Nasty Urban Water Cocktail, filtered by Splash, if he met a personal fundraising goal in December. Well, he did and he will. Take a look! No Laughing Matter While we're laughing now, it's because we are completely serious: We can clean water for kids who must otherwise drink nasty water. Thank You To everyone who supported Eric and clean water for kids. Visit splash.org to learn more.

“Water is medicine.” ~ Karen Nilsen, M.D. Make a splash today at www.crowdrise.com/TheFutureOfWater Children need water, food, and shelter ~ plus, of course, a lot of love and encouragement ~ to grow and thrive. So when children drink water that is unsafe ~ on a daily basis ~ it literally changes their life. It alters their future. In a recent (2012) study of tap water in schools in Calcutta, India, Splash found that 71% of water (directly from the schools' faucets) tested positively for total coliform and 55% tested positively for E.coli. This is water in schools (!) just to be clear. For decades now, there have been noble intentions and efforts in global water relief. But children have been left in the margins. The shape of the water crisis is different for kids. The Future of Water includes a laser focus on kids, in urban areas, in extreme poverty. It affects girls becoming women, kids being kids, and young people staying in school (rather than missing out on education due to stomach bugs). The Future of Water includes us all. We can make a huge difference, right away, for years to come. Learn more at www.Splash.org MUSIC CREDIT: Many thanks to The Dodos for donating the amazing music for this video
