In December 1991 Sri Chinmoy inaugurated himself one of the many so-called "Peace-Blossoms" which have been established around the world. It was a small private plane in Malta that was chosen by Sri Chinmoy and he himself flew a little round-trip, only being accompanied by the pilot. All cheering disciples had to wait on the ground. His first words after deboarding the plane: "Most delightful": Filmed and edited by kedarvideo, Switzerland.

In this video, Sri Chinmoy explains how an aspirant can reach his ultimate Goal through different approaches, like controling the thoughts (as in meditation), devotion (as in bhakti) or service (as in karma yoga). "Even if the thought comes... think of them as a bird flying in the sky... the sky is not scratched or injured or anything... then you will not be affected. (...) There is another way. There are many ways. There were many, many excellent devotees down the sweep of centuries [who] could not control their minds. But they love their Master. They serve their Master. Devoted service, selfless service. This is the 33rd episode of the series “Meditation-Silence” which focuses on the power of early morning meditation. It also includes a meditation video of Sri Chinmoy, taken this time during a meditation in the Eighties in Queens, NY. Today’s quote is on “Progress”: “We all wish to make progress, continuous and constant. How is it that we do not make satisfactory progress? We do not make satisfactory progress precisely because we live in the world of complaints. We complain and because we complain, we do not make any progress. Because we do not love God, we complain and because we complain, we do not love God. And because we think of the world too much, we make no progress.” – Sri Chinmoy, from “Wings of Joy”, first published by Fireside, NY, 1997.
