The Adventure Learning program Ride To Learn thematizes global citizenship, sustainability, and humane education through a variety of engaging and interactive multimedia teaching activities. After cycling through Brazil, West Africa and western Europe the World By Cycle explorers Nicolas and Kristina visited bluesign technologies to capture this interview about their role in a more sustainable future for textile production. Organisations that undertake the 'bluesign system' agree at the outset to establish management systems for improving environmental performance in five key areas of the production process: resource productivity, consumer safety, water emissions, air emissions, and occupational health and safety. System partners regularly report their progress and must meet improvement goals to maintain their status. Make sure you visit www.ride2learn.org to find out how you can participate and/or learn about this program.
