OUToberfest is Mississippi's principle annual arts and music festival and serves to recognize National Coming Out Day and National LGBT History Month. Duncan McCullough from the Transgender Support Group of Mississippi tells why Transgender is an important part of the Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender umbrella. We are hated by the same people for the same reasons. We face the same discrimination. And trans men and women have been in the trenches fighting for GLBT civil rights from the absolute beginning.
