This is a short stop-motion animation. The idea came from thinking about the mentally and physically stimulating effects from Red Bull. Hopefully this comes across in a lighthearted fun way. Everything is handmade such as the props, clothes, sets and models (puppets are latex, foam and wire, props are fimo, wood, paper, metal etc, and sets are mainly mountboard, papers etc). Thanks for watching!

Instagram is an incredible resource for all kinds of images. I wanted to create structure out of this chaos. The result is a crowd source short-film that shows the endless possibilities of social media. The video consists of 852 different pictures, from 852 different instagram users. If you are one of them, shout and I will add you to the credits. music: The black Keys - Gold on the ceiling www.iamthomasjullien.com Special thanks to Amadeus Henhapl, Pieter van den Heuvel and Silje Lian who pushed me to finnish this short. I combined everyday soap bubbles with exotic ferrofluid liquid to create an eerie tale, using macro lenses and time lapse techniques. Black ferrofluid and dye race through bubble structures, drawn through by the invisible forces of capillary action and magnetism. Time-lapse sequences: Nikon D90, Nikkor 60mm macro lens and custom built intervalometer. Motion-control: Arduino driven scanner platform and mirror rigs Score: Ableton Live View Compressed 01 http://vimeo.com/22866665 Twitter http://www.twitter.com/kpimmel

I started shooting not long after my thirteenth birthday, and what began as a test, turned into a project that would take 9-10 months of on-and-off shooting to complete. I shot over 45,000 stills including reshoots, not all of which made the final cut, and eventually decided that I had most of the footage I had set out to get for my film. Shot as a series of stills on a Sony A230. Tilt-Shift effect applied in AE. Edited in FCP. The music is by the wonderful 'Cinematic Orchestra' who kindly let me use their tracks. The film itself is dedicated to Rob MacDonald who sadly passed away this year.

Transformation trough mutations stages. Evolution as a function gain is called neomorphic. Imaginary creatures adapt into an Ecosystem and the transformation of these habitats for these creatures generates a fantastic cycle. The mutation symbolism is part of our experiences in that trajectory, changing places, finding a new spectrum, a new phase, evolving. Neomorphus is the second movie created for the series of free mini-shorts named Praepostere, the first being "Adiantum pedatum" https://vimeo.com/12174903 - made with stop-motion technique with the theme of unusual developments in a morbid visionary. _______________________________________________ Mutações, etapas de uma transformação.
