These seeds were obtained at the Farm Tech exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago, IL while my husband and I were vacationing there in August 2012. I planted the seeds in recycled coffee cups with seed starter soil and transferred them to larger plastic containers when they were mature enough (Day 17). These plastic containers were transported (Day 50) to the student garden at my school, Claremont McKenna College, and grew to maturity. We had lots of rain during pollination (Day 106). Nevertheless, this was a good experiment in creating the Three Sisters Garden. The bean didn't survive but the squash produced several small fruits before succumbing to frost. One ear of corn is drying now in my kitchen.
