Did you know that our local community college offers a variety of programs in construction science? Did you know that they specialize in teaching green building skills and techniques? AB Tech Department Chair Heath Moody asked us to create a video series for their website. We worked together to produce 3 short videos that serve to increase awareness and attendance of the Building Science, Construction Management and Sustainability Technologies Programs at AB Tech. We created an organic visual narrative from interviews blended with supplemental footage of campus student projects and classroom time. By educating the public and demonstrating practicality and innovations, these videos highlight the wide variety of skills applicable across these green-related disciplines. These videos deliver the message that construction is here to stay while exploring the many facets of the field. They will also help to motivate prospective students to enter the program. We had a lot of fun on campus with Heath and his students. Special thanks to Lin Yount-Orndorf and Ashley Edwards for their participation.

Every year ~600,000 tons (1.2 million pounds) of billboard vinyl is produced. That equates to 250 million square feet, which at a foot across is enough to wrap around the earth's equator twice. Yes, we create enough vinyl to make our earth a foot high belt to wrap around its' waist twice every single year. And less than 3% of that vinyl will be recycled. We're here to change that. Epicstoke wallets are made from recycled billboard vinyl- making each wallet unique, extremely durable, incredibly thin, and downright awesome. This is our first product launch and we're all ears for what you want next, but we need some help from you first: Help by sharing this with your friends and spread the word. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/e... http://www.EPICSTOKE.com Song: Madeon - Icarus (Invoker Remix) PVC (Vinyl) Fact Source: http://www.healthybuilding.net/pvc/Th...
